WHY take the PET or KET test?
The tests are an independent evaluation of your English level. If you successfully complete the test, you will be awarded a life-time certificate of English that corresponds to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) which is internationally recognized. The CEFR organizes language proficiency into six levels:
A Basic User
A1 Breakthrough or beginner
A2 Waystage or elementary (KET)
B Independent User
B1 Threshold or intermediate (PET)
B2 Vantage or upper intermediate
C Proficient User
C1 Effective Operational Proficiency or advanced
C2 Mastery or proficiency

ARE the tests free?Unfortunately no.
The KET test costs 1,400pesos
The PET test costs 1,500 pesos
The money can be paid to the AdministraciĆ³n in the ANEXA and you will be given a receipt.
WHEN must I register by?
To enroll in the free-preparation course, speak with your English teacher before December.
To register for the exam, you must pay the testing fee by March 20th.
